On November 30, 1934, the late Rufus and Juanita Horn Craft, were blessed with their 4th child, Audrey Mae Craft.

Audrey attended elementary school in the Loma community and graduated from Sam Houston High School, in 1952. Following graduation she moved to Houston, Texas and attended Erma Hughes Business School and Texas Southern University. After her stay in Houston, she moved back to Huntsville, Texas.

Audrey was a faithful member of Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Demarcus Howard. She joined church in 1955, under the leadership of Pastor Dawson and served in several axillaries that included being president of BTU and playing a major part in the Mission organization. She remained faithful until her health began to fail.

Through the years Audrey was employed by J.C. and Dorothy Walker, Sandra and Bill Fitzgerald, Brown Oil Tools Co., Conroe College, George Russell, Terrie and Steve Black.

Audrey was preceded in death by her son Lorenzia Craft; siblings:  Ernest Craft, Nathaniel Craft, Moses Craft, Billy Roy Craft, Elizabeth Jefferson, Carzetta Craft and Mary Frances Stubblefield.

Audrey leaves in God's care her daughters: Ivi Coleman-Hamilton and Deanny Craft; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sister: Audelia Archie (Glen), a host of nieces, nephews; godchildren: Debora Byrd, Terrie Black, Maria Overshon, Stanley Garman and Danny Mock, and a host of additional relatives and friends.
