On January 11,1943, a baby girl was born to Ned and Mollie R. Jordan. They named her Frankie.
Frankie received her education in Huntsville, Texas. She was a proud member of the graduating class of 1961 at Sam Houston High School. Frankie continued her education at LA City College in California.
Growing up Frankie confessed her love for Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Booker Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, where her faithfulness continued until her health began to fail. In addition to her church duties being fulfilled, she was also a member of the Sister's Aide Society.
Early in life Frankie met and would eventually marry Cornell Giles. This union produced three children. Years after Cornell Giles passing, Frankie found love a second time and married James Mills.
Frankie was preceded in death by her parents, her first and second husbands; son: Horace Giles; brother: Ned Jr. and sister-in-law: Doretha.
Frankie leaves to cherish memories, her children: Toni A. Hicks (Michael), Lillian "Carol" Giles; step-children: Errold J. Mills and Annette L. Mills-Prelow; siblings: Clara N. Jordan, Bobbie J. Kelly (Harold) and Elmer R. Jordan; sister-in-law: Betty Holmes; grandchildren: LaTonya A. Mills (Jerry), Jordan Alexander, Jarvis Merchant, Carolyn J.
